Reagan Burgle, a standout libero from Salpointe Catholic in Tucson, has announced her commitment to the University of Arizona’s volleyball team. Burgle, who helped lead her team to a state championship in 2022, was praised by her coach, Keith Rubio, for her exceptional skills and intangibles.
A Leader on and off the Court
Burgle’s leadership skills and work ethic have earned her recognition as one of the top players in the state. She has been an integral part of Salpointe’s success, including their recent state title win. Rubio, who has decades of coaching experience, described Burgle as the best libero he has coached in his career.
Burgle’s decision to attend the University of Arizona was influenced by her desire to stay close to home and play for a coach she admires, Rita Stubbs. She also cited the school’s strong volleyball program and her desire to study education and minor in criminal justice. Burgle plans to pursue a career in law enforcement after completing her education.
