Zelenskyy thanked Trump for the support America has provided to Ukraine, including Javelins and Patriots. They also discussed ways to bring about peace and protect lives.
The two leaders will meet at the G7 Summit, where they will discuss Ukraine and Russia’s war. European leaders will also join the meeting, showing solidarity with Ukraine.
Trump has been working towards securing an Iranian peace treaty and hopes to end the war in Ukraine. Zelenskyy and Trump agreed to discuss more during their meeting at the G7 Summit.
