Protecting College Sports

The Protect College Sports Act, spearheaded by Sens. Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell, aims to grant the NCAA a limited antitrust exemption, allowing the governing body to enforce restrictions on athlete compensation. The bill also addresses eligibility and transfer rules across college athletics.

According to Campbell, the Protect College Sports Act is the first viable college sports bill to make it out of committee in either house. He emphasized that it is the last chance to restore order and stop the chaos in the college sports landscape.
