Two males have been apprehended and the search for two additional armed and dangerous suspects is continuing in Trumbull, according to police.

Investigators said officers were actively searching for four male suspects who are considered armed and dangerous on Monday night. The search was in the area of Booth Hill Road, Columbine Avenue and White Plains Road. Around 9 p.m., police said two suspects had been apprehended.
Residents in the Nichols area of town are being urged to stay inside their homes and lock their doors as the search continues for the other two suspects, who police said are considered armed and dangerous. Police are also reminding residents to lock their cars and remove keys and key fobs to prevent theft.
Multiple police agencies have now joined the search and are using K9s, drones and an aircraft. Officers are expected to remain in the area as the search continues. Anyone who sees or hears anything suspicious should call 911.
