A large truck became wedged under the Peace Street bridge in Raleigh on Wednesday morning. Crews freed the truck around 8:45 a.m. and remained at the scene to clear debris.
The truck belonged to the H.T. Hackney company. The bridge is notorious for larger vehicles getting stuck underneath. The railroad bridge built in 1954 has a clearance of 12 feet, 4 inches.
