La Vita Dolce, a popular cafe and coffee shop in Chapel Hill’s Southern Village, is moving to a new location in the former Market & Moss space. The new spot will triple the size of the current location and offer an all-day concept with expanded hours.
New Openings
Other new openings in the Triangle area include Jeff’s Bagel Run in GlenLake Office Park, Fogo de Chão at Crabtree Valley Mall, and Five Guys in the Crabtree Valley Mall food court. Additionally, Panda Express is coming to the Six Forks Station Shopping Center, and Arepa Culture is relocating to the same shopping center.
In Raleigh, Topsail Steamer is opening a take-home and steam concept, offering fresh seafood steam pots. Esteamed Coffee is opening a second location in Cary, and Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café is opening its first North Carolina location in Fenton. 123 Burger has opened in the former Zaxby’s location on Fayetteville Road.
Events and Closings
The Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 21, and the Durham Central Park Food Truck Rodeo will be held on September 27. The Taco Bell at Six Forks Station has closed, and the Chirba Chirba truck is retiring from being mobile and looking for a permanent location.
