The Triangle area is hosting over 80 events in August, featuring a wide range of activities for all interests. From summer festivals to concerts and markets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
August 1-6 Events
On August 1, the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival will take place at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, featuring over 60 beers, 40 bourbons, and plenty of barbecue. The Market at NCMA will also be held on August 1, allowing visitors to browse galleries, enjoy the museum park, and shop local.
Other events on August 1 include MJ Night at Ritz Raleigh, Andrew Orolfo at Raleigh Improv, and the Girls Summer Soirée at Boxyard RTP. The Dog Days of Summer Pawty will be held at Boxyard RTP, featuring a pool party for dogs with free ice cream and a dog treat bar.
August 7-13 Events
On August 7, Tim McGraw will perform at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek as part of his Pawn Shop Guitar tour. The Big Three: Tributes to Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth will take place at Kings in Raleigh, and the First Friday at Oak City Brewing will feature live music, vendors, and food trucks.
Other events in the following weeks include the Triangle Wedding Show, the Cary Underground Market, and the Fit + Flow at Fenton festival, which combines the Triangle Yoga Festival and the Peak City Fitness Festival.
More Events Throughout August
The Triangle area will continue to host a wide range of events throughout August, including the NC Jerk Festival, the GarlicFest, and the Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile. The Raleigh Underground Market will take place on August 9, featuring new bands, local vendors, food trucks, and more.
