A traveler’s layover at Harry Reid International Airport turned into a life-changing event when they won a $3.3 million jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine.

Details of the Win

The win occurred in the airport’s C Gates after the traveler placed a $10 bet. The airport is one of only two commercial aviation hubs in the United States to feature terminal gambling.

Michael Gaughan’s Airport Slot Concession operates over 1,400 machines across the terminals, generating tens of millions in annual revenue that helps lower operating costs for airlines.

This multimillion-dollar windfall is just the latest in a string of recent high-profile terminal jackpots. In May 2025, another traveler won $1.8 million on a $5 bet on a Wheel of Fortune machine in the D Gates.
