Crime Spree Details
The trio allegedly hit cemeteries in at least nine states during the crime spree, with two locations targeted within Orange County, Florida. The Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home was one of the Orange County locations targeted, and officials released a statement condemning the thefts.
Detectives said in Florida, the value of the stolen goods from approximately 20 cases at cemeteries stretching from the Tampa area to Seminole County is more than $35,000. However, detectives also said that amount is not what matters, as they warn there could be more victims.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered through Central Florida Crimeline for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
