A tragic accident occurred in Boynton Beach, Florida, when a 3-year-old child died after getting their head stuck in a kitchen playset. The incident happened on July 23 in the Meadows of Boynton Beach community.

Investigation Details

According to investigators, the toddler was at a babysitter’s house with their sibling when the incident occurred. The babysitter had left the residence, leaving the children in the care of their spouse. The spouse remained upstairs while the children played downstairs, periodically checking on them and providing snacks.

The spouse discovered the 3-year-old with their head stuck in the kitchen playset and immediately removed the child, performing lifesaving measures until first responders arrived. The toddler’s sibling reported that the child’s toys had fallen into the kitchen playset, and the child became stuck while trying to retrieve them.

The child was pronounced dead on July 27. No charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
