Panasonic has recalled more than 11,000 toaster ovens sold online through Amazon, Costco, and other platforms due to concerns they may pose a risk of shock or a fire hazard.

The recall involves Panasonic Electric Toaster Ovens with the Model No. NB-G200. The stainless steel toaster ovens have a temperature knob located on the bottom, six cooking menus with pre-set buttons, a digital timer and temperature settings. No fires or injuries have been reported, but there have been four reports of tripped circuit breakers or outlets, and one report that a toaster oven stopped working.
The toaster ovens were sold online from October 2024 through April 2026 for about $170. Consumers are urged to stop using the items immediately and reach out to Panasonic for a refund.
