Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) confirmed the departures of two wrestlers in its Knockouts Division. Mara Sadé and Jody Threat have left the company.
TNA also announced that a former Knockouts champion will be returning to the promotion, but the company did not specify who.
Sadé and Threat are the latest wrestlers in a string of departures that have hit the company recently. Other notable departures include Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, Eric Young, Mike Santana, Tommy Dreamer, Veronica Crawford, Sami Callihan, Travis Williams, and Judas Icarus.
Despite the departures, TNA has been able to keep fans interested with the talent still on the roster. KC Navarro is a legitimate threat to win the TNA World Championship as he feuds with Nic Nemeth, Jason Hotch defeated Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship, and the company is nearly set to crown its first TNA Knockouts TV champion.
TNA is set to hold its first Lockdown pay-per-view in more than a decade. Each match will be held inside a steel cage.
