TMRW Sports, a sports technology company co-founded by golf stars Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, is set to relocate its headquarters to downtown Orlando. The Orlando City Council approved a package of economic incentives to support the company’s move from Winter Park to Orlando.
Economic Incentives
The city approved a Strategic Targeted Recruitment Incentive for Valued Employment (STRIVE) agreement with TMRW Sports, which includes performance-based incentives of up to $341,250 over eight years. The company plans to relocate 70 existing employees to downtown Orlando and create an additional 125 new jobs over the next five years, bringing a total of 195 positions to the city.
The relocated jobs have a median annual salary of $135,000, while the newly created positions will have a median salary of $136,641.50. TMRW Sports also plans to invest an estimated $11 million to build out an existing building for its new headquarters.
