Cooperstown welcomed three new legends Sunday, as Jeff Kent, Andruw Jones, and Carlos Beltrán were officially enshrined into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, with a record 60 Hall of Famers on stage to celebrate them.
Andruw Jones became the first Hall of Famer from Curaçao, tearfully crediting his late father for the coaching that got him there. Carlos Beltrán brought a Puerto Rican flag to the podium, honoring his island and crediting Royals legend George Brett for early advice that stuck with him for life.
