In addition to his music career, Dolby has also worked as a professor at Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute, teaching film and video game scoring. He has also founded several companies, including Beatnik, which developed technology for internet music and cellphone ringtones.

The festival will take place at Ferg’s Pavilion in St. Petersburg, starting at 7 p.m. Dolby will perform with his band, the Lost Toy People, and will play his 1988 album ‘Aliens Ate My Buick’ in its entirety.
