Theatre Tuscaloosa has unveiled its 2026-2027 season, themed ‘Thrills and Chills,’ offering a diverse lineup of six productions that promise to captivate West Alabama audiences. Season Highlights
The season opens with ‘Clue,’ running from September 25 to October 4 at the Bean-Brown Theatre. This thrilling adaptation of the classic board game and film invites audiences to solve a murder mystery alongside iconic characters like Colonel Mustard and Mrs. Peacock.
In December, ‘Home for the Holidays’ will make its world premiere. Co-written by Walker and Josh Levine, this family-friendly production features a 1940s USO tour setting, complete with beloved holiday songs such as ‘Holly, Jolly Christmas’ and ‘Silver Bells.’
January 25, 2027, marks a special collaboration between the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and Stillman College with ‘Gershwin Greats,’ a one-night-only performance at the University of Alabama’s Moody Music Hall. The event will celebrate George Gershwin’s timeless music, including ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ and selections from ‘Porgy and Bess.’

The season concludes with ‘Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical,’ from July 16-25 at the Bean-Brown Theatre. Based on the popular Disney film, this production follows the journey of sisters Anna and Elsa as they navigate challenges with the help of friends like Olaf and Kristoff.
