The Wharf Closes Midtown Montgomery Location

The Wharf seafood chain has closed its location on Atlanta Highway at Perry Hill Road in Midtown Montgomery. The Montgomery-based restaurant chain posted a sign on the window stating that it is transitioning to standalone freestanding restaurant locations.

The Wharf had been part of a popular strip mall that was constructed on the property of the former Head Elementary School, which was torn down in 2015. This location of The Wharf had been open for ten years.

The chain has nine other locations, including at EastChase in Montgomery, Wetumpka and Alexander City in the area. A Clanton location is coming soon.
