The Pub, located at 204 W. Virginia St. in McKinney, is a popular spot for craft cocktails and burgers. Manager Cassie Correa-Henschke said the restaurant has been told it has the best burger in the square.

The Pub’s menu includes a wide selection of craft beer and whiskey, as well as cocktails like The Pub Strawberry Lemonade. Popular menu items include the Guinness beef stew, Totchos, The Pub burger, fish and chips, and The Jimmy burger.

Customers often celebrate life events at The Pub, and the restaurant hosts themed events like 70’s and 80’s nights. The Pub staff is also involved in the McKinney community, having donated to a local women’s shelter and collected donations for a hospital during mental health awareness month.

The atmosphere at The Pub is similar to the bar in the show ‘Cheers,’ with the staff knowing the names of regular customers and some having gone on vacation together. ‘They have become a part of our family here,’ Correa-Henschke said.
