The victims were Samuel Roberts, 24; Tiffani Peacock, 18; and Celso Lopez, 38. Court records show that Ramey and his accomplice, LeJames Norman, entered the home believing it contained cocaine. After finding no drugs, the men shot Lopez, then killed Peacock and Roberts when they arrived. Ramey later returned to the scene and fired additional shots to ensure the victims were dead.
Norman, who lived across the street from the house, was arrested five months later while attempting to re‑enter the United States from Mexico. He was executed on September 16, 2026, also at the Huntsville facility.

Hours before his execution, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Ramey’s final appeal. His defense team argued that jurors never heard mitigating evidence about his upbringing, including childhood physical abuse and poverty.
