Anthony Price, a singer-songwriter from Texarkana, Texas, is making a name for himself in the local country music scene. At just 18 years old, he has been nominated for the Texas Country Music Association’s Young Artist of the Year award.

Early Beginnings

Price’s love for music began when he was introduced to classic country music by his grandfather, Billy Roberts, a musician from Texarkana. He started playing music in his early teens and formed a band, performing at small venues and dance halls around the area.

After meeting the president of the Texas Country Music Association at a gig in Marshall, Texas, Price discovered the local music scene and began to make a name for himself. He now performs two to three times a weekend, writing songs and booking future dates.

This is the second time Price has been nominated for the Young Artist of the Year award. He is grateful for the recognition and thanks his family and followers for their unwavering support.
