A 17-year-old male was struck and killed by a car Sunday night in Tolland, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said that around 10:40 p.m., a black Ford Taurus carrying three male passengers was traveling south on Crystal Lake Road near Willow Creek Drive.
The victim was standing in the roadway when he was struck, according to police. Police said the victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Vernon, remained on scene and sustained no apparent injury, according to police.
