Taylor Swift’s beach town of Watch Hill, Rhode Island, is abuzz with rumors of a possible wedding. A large tent appeared next to Swift’s estate, sparking speculation about the singer’s impending nuptials.

Watch Hill Residents Weigh In

Wedding planner Nicole Simeral, who is working on a different wedding in the area, said she has been fielding questions about Swift’s possible wedding. ‘Is Taylor Swift getting married here? Many, many, many have asked,’ Simeral said.

Local residents, including lifelong resident Lauren Nigrelli, have grown accustomed to the attention surrounding Swift. Nigrelli, a Realtor who owns the boutiques Tide and Tide Kids, said she began selling apparel emblazoned with ‘Holiday House,’ the nickname associated with Swift’s mansion.

Visitors to the area, such as Audrey and John Curtis, a married couple from Connecticut, have also been drawn into the speculation. ‘We were just looking up at her house,’ Audrey Curtis said, pointing toward the mansion. ‘She’s not getting married here now, though.’
