A law enforcement official briefed on the security plans told the Associated Press that the event on Thursday night will be the rehearsal dinner. Crews have been seen unloading equipment from trucks outside the Manhattan arena. A large carpet was briefly unveiled outside one entrance and then promptly removed.
A source with knowledge of the matter, who is among the invitees, told NBC News that invitees were sent non-disclosure agreements along with electronic invitations. The person also said multiple performances are expected from various artists.
