In Tarrant County, several local restaurants are celebrating the summer season by offering special prix-fixe menus that highlight local produce and diverse culinary traditions. These menus provide diners with a fixed-price option to enjoy multi-course meals, often accompanied by optional wine pairings.

Ellerbe Fine Foods Celebrates 17 Years

Located in Fort Worth, Ellerbe Fine Foods is marking its 17th anniversary with a series of three-course prix-fixe menus available throughout the summer. Each menu features the freshest local produce sourced from North Texas farmers, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to supporting local agriculture. In addition to the weekly menus, Ellerbe is hosting a monthly global cuisine series, with the first dinner focusing on tapas on June 25. The cost is $58 per person, with an optional $22 wine pairing. Diners can also enjoy predinner drinks from 4-6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, with $10 glasses of wine and seasonal cocktails.

Trulucks Offers Variety in Southlake

Trulucks in Southlake presents its Tru Summer of ’92 menu, offering diners a choice of three courses for $59. Known for its seafood, Trulucks provides a wide range of options, including vegan pappardelle Bolognese with mushroom ragu and cashew ricotta. The menu includes seven starters, such as lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail, and a variety of entrees like jalapeno salmon bearnaise and filet mignon. Desserts include options like chocolate malt cake and petit key lime pie, with additional choices available for a small surcharge.

Acquario’s Italian Flair in Keller

In Keller, Acquario offers a four-course prix-fixe chef’s menu every Monday from 4-9 p.m. for $49. Executive Chef Ferdinand “Freddy” Plaku crafts dishes that begin with a choice of potato and garlic soup or Caesar salad. The second course features gnocchi Acquario with Gorgonzola cream sauce or short rib stuffed tortelloni. For the main course, diners can choose between chicken piccata and jumbo shrimp with fregola sarda. The meal concludes with a choice of tiramisu served with vanilla or chocolate gelato.

These offerings highlight the vibrant culinary scene in Tarrant County, providing residents and visitors with a taste of local and international flavors. Reservations for these dining experiences can be made through the respective restaurants.
