A new vintage shop, Tight Knit Vintage & Modern, is set to open in the Inner Sunset, offering a mix of vintage and modern second-hand pieces. The shop, owned by Ashley Von Edge, will take over the space previously occupied by Willow on the Green, a cheese shop that closed in May.

Sloat Garden Center is hosting its very first Dog Day of Summer, with a pet photo booth and a photo contest. A new pilot playground, Shipwreck Cove, has started construction on Sunset Dunes park, featuring a multi-level ship and sand play features.
