The final week of Summer Bonanza concluded with meaningful educational experiences and a celebration of growth as participants prepared for the upcoming school year.

Summer Bonanza participants attended a four-day Beach Institute Art & Cultural Enrichment Summer Camp. Under the guidance of instructor Ms. Evelyn Williamson and Beach Institute Director Jay Jones, students explored various art genres and the works of influential African American artists.

Throughout the program, they demonstrated exceptional teamwork while developing foundational skills in color mixing, layering, and brush control, culminating in original, themed acrylic paintings. In addition to art instruction, Ms. Williamson shared inspiring personal experiences about perseverance and achieving goals.

To celebrate the conclusion of Summer Bonanza, campers, their families, and community partners gathered on Saturday for a celebratory riverboat cruise filled with fellowship, mentorship, and reflection on a memorable summer.
