Police found the note hidden in a bathroom closet next to the room where Sheets was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The note was written in shaky handwriting and said ‘I could not take anymore the Facebook bulling.’ Police also interviewed the alleged bully, who denied having anything to do with Sheets’ death.
Sheets’ girlfriend told police that he had been having trouble sleeping and was stressed out due to ‘family drama’ and issues with a male slandering his name. She also said that Sheets and his son had verbally fought over family issues during a recent visit, which left Sheets ‘devastated’.
Sheets was known as ‘the gambler’ on the show for his ventures into risky auction bids. His former co-stars, including Brandi Passante and Rene Nezhoda, shared messages on Instagram after his death, with Nezhoda encouraging law enforcement to look into the alleged cyberbully.
