Stillman College will have a strong presence in Atlanta later this month as President Yolanda W. Page has been named Grand Marshal for the 2026 Atlanta HBCU Alliance 5K Run/Walk. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, at 8 a.m. at Piedmont Park’s Meadows in Atlanta and will bring together alumni, students, supporters and community members from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the region.
Community Engagement and Support
Hosted by the Stillman College Atlanta Alumni Chapter, the annual event celebrates the legacy, impact and future of HBCUs while encouraging health, wellness and community engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to run or walk the 5K course while representing their alma maters and supporting the continued mission of HBCUs.
Organizers say the event is about more than fitness. It’s also a chance to build connections, celebrate school pride and invest in future generations of students. The event will feature music, community fellowship and opportunities for alumni and supporters to come together in support of higher education and HBCU excellence.
