Steve’s Garden in Colorado Springs recently hosted its second salsa taste test of the year. Despite the challenges posed by squirrel attacks on the garden, Steve was able to produce enough tomatoes and cilantro to make a delicious salsa for the taste test.
The salsa was enjoyed by anchors Heather Skold and Danny Mata, as well as the rest of the newsroom. Steve’s secret to a good salsa is to roast all the ingredients before mixing them together.
