SporTran invited residents to find a new way to get around while saving money during its ‘Break Up With The Pump’ community event in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The event, held at the SporTran terminal, featured live entertainment, local vendors, food, voter registration, community resources, and a backpack giveaway for elementary and middle school students.
Visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about SporTran’s services, including its fare-free bus system. SporTran marketing Director Candace Bradford said the event was designed to bring the community together while highlighting transportation options available to residents.
