Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air, a company serving Southern California, has launched a back-to-school giveaway for local teachers. The company will accept nominations through August 23 for a donation to be applied toward a teacher’s classroom wish list.
The goal of the giveaway is to recognize and show appreciation for the dedication of teachers in the community. According to Katherine Conchas, the company’s brand marketing manager, ‘Teachers give so much to their students, often reaching into their own pockets to make sure their students have what they need in the classroom.’
The giveaway is being supported in part by a donation from HomeGuru, a vendor that works with Rooter Hero. One Southern California teacher will be selected on August 24 to receive the donation. Nominations can be submitted through the company’s website and must include an explanation of why the teacher should be selected and a link to the teacher’s classroom wish list.
