Six Flags Over Texas is set to unveil Tormenta: Rampaging Run, the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest giga dive coaster, on Friday, June 26. Located in Arlington, Texas, this record-breaking coaster will be part of the park’s Spain area, in a new themed zone called Rancho de la Tormenta.
Coaster Details
Tormenta: Rampaging Run stands at 309 feet tall and features a 285-foot first drop. The coaster’s train will pause for three seconds at the top, giving riders a breathtaking view of the surrounding area before descending into a twisted layout.
The new themed area, Rancho de la Tormenta, is designed to resemble an old Spanish village, complete with vibrant banners, entertainment, and the signature coaster. The village’s backstory revolves around the legendary bull, Tormenta, which symbolizes the town’s resilience and strength.
