Six Flags Great America is adding a new family area, Camp Timber Trail, which will open in 2027. The area will feature three new attractions, including a suspended family coaster called Sky Hawk.
New Attractions
Alongside Sky Hawk, the other new additions will be Trail Trotters, an imaginative animal trek, and an outdoor play area called Forest Grove Play Park. Four more rides in the former Camp Cartoon area will be renamed and rethemed to join Camp Timber Trail.
The new area is part of a multi-year transformation of Six Flags Great America, according to Park President John Krajnak. Guests can expect to see beautification efforts and property-wide improvements over the next three to five years.
