The committee’s decision has sparked accusations of excluding groups that don’t align with conservative politics. However, the committee has denied representation to not just progressive activist groups, but to all special interest organizations.
The parade, which will feature over 80 entries from area businesses, service groups, candidates for elected office, and political party organizations recognized by the South Dakota Secretary of State, will take place in downtown Sioux Falls.
