A Shreveport woman died Sunday night after her car collided with a freight train in southwest Shreveport. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Tausha Williams, 45.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. at a railroad crossing in the 6500 block of Buncombe Road. Williams died at the scene. The coroner ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The Shreveport Police Department is still investigating the crash.
