The Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force is asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted for residential contractor fraud. An arrest warrant was issued for Hayden Rutledge, who is accused of accepting payment for a home repair project in Shreveport that began in February.
Rutledge was hired to repair a walkway and deck area, but detectives discovered he did not obtain the required permits and was not a licensed contractor. Authorities are working to locate Rutledge and are warning the public about potential fraudulent activity connected to him.
Anyone with information on Rutledge’s whereabouts, or who believes they may have been a victim of similar activity, should contact the Shreveport Police Department or local law enforcement.
