The City of Shreveport is hosting its second lecture of its ‘The Threads That Bind Us’ series on Thursday, June 25. Dr. Cheryl White from Louisiana State University in Shreveport’s History and Social Sciences department will give a lecture on women’s history and the shaping of America.

The lecture will be held inside the University Center Theatre on the LSUS campus at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The event is free to attend.
