Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to former Vice President Kamala Harris’ Malibu home on Friday night after an unidentified woman arrived on the property without permission on two separate occasions. The woman was dropped off by an Uber, attempted to contact the residence’s security team, and was told to leave. When she returned later that evening, Harris’ security called the authorities after 10 p.m.

Lt. Jason Duron, a watch commander at the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station, told the Los Angeles Times that deputies are stepping up patrols of the property to ensure safety. The woman was not arrested, according to FOX 11.
Security context
Harris’ spokesperson, Eduardo Negrón, said security personnel stopped the individual before she reached the home. Neither Harris nor Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff were present at the time. The couple purchased the $8 million property in January of last year.
