One Sheridan High School runner and a Sheridan High School grad outran the competition ahead of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo parade. Soon to be junior Jaelyn Ruybal, and 2023 graduate Austin Akers respectively won the women’s and men’s Sneakers and Spurs 5K races, ahead of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo parade.
Having done it so many years, you can kind of find the familiar landmarks while you’re racing and remember how much longer you have in certain parts of the course. And we run around all the parts of town where we run our workouts, so it’s familiar footing, too.
