The Sheridan City Council has adopted a resolution to regulate the placement of chairs along the parade route during the Sheridan WYO Rodeo. According to Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger, people have been setting out their chairs earlier and earlier in recent years, causing hindrances and blocking traffic.
New Rules
The resolution states that no person shall place chairs, benches, coolers, signs, or other personal property upon any public sidewalk, curb, street, alley, or public right-of-way along the parade route prior to 5 p.m. on the day immediately preceding the parade. Any item placed in violation of the resolution may be removed by authorized personnel without prior notice.
