Sheridan is celebrating a major athletic achievement: the Sheridan Broncs Boys Basketball Team has won the 2026 Wyoming 4A State Championship, bringing home the title for the community.

The Broncs powered their way to the top of the bracket, including a dominant first-round victory over Green River in the 2026 4A State Tournament. That early performance set the tone for a championship run that the entire community can be proud of.

The championship adds to a proud basketball tradition in Sheridan, where the girls team also claimed a 4A State title in 2024. Back-to-back state championships across both programs speaks to the depth of athletic talent and dedication coming out of Sheridan’s schools.
