Selma police say an 18-year-old is recovering after being shot in the head. The incident occurred on July 14, and the victim, Jarron Stallworth, Jr., was found at Vaughan Regional Medical Center receiving treatment for a gunshot wound.
According to police, Stallworth was alert and able to provide a brief statement about what he remembered. However, he was unable to describe the suspect or provide a possible reason for the shooting.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Stallworth was shot while walking toward the GWC Homes public housing community. The police are asking anyone with information to come forward and call CrimeStoppers at (334) 215-STOP.
