Seahawks Cb Devon Witherspoon Gets 132M Extension

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a four-year, $132 million extension with cornerback Devon Witherspoon, making him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history, according to ESPN.

Witherspoon, 25, has been a Pro Bowl selection in each of his first three seasons and is a Super Bowl champion. The deal includes more than $101 million in guaranteed money.

Witherspoon was the fifth overall pick from Illinois in 2023 and has 249 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions in 43 games for Seattle. He also had a sack in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.
