As summer heats up, some Scottsdale businesses are already thinking about kids heading back to the classroom. LDV Winery is among the participants in the Scottsdale Wine Trail’s Back-to-School Supplies Drive, a community giving effort running through August 31.
The drive invites locals to drop off school supplies at participating Scottsdale Wine Trail locations, helping ensure that students in the area are stocked up and ready to learn when the new school year begins. It’s a creative way for the local wine community to give back — turning a visit to a favorite tasting room into an opportunity to support Scottsdale’s kids.
With the drive running all the way through the end of August, residents have plenty of time to pick up extra pencils, notebooks, or other classroom essentials and drop them off while enjoying a glass of Arizona wine. It’s a feel-good pairing that the whole community can get behind.
If you’d like to participate, stop by LDV Winery or other Scottsdale Wine Trail member locations before August 31 and bring a school supply donation along for the visit.
