Scottsdale Airport to Launch Nonstop Flights to Cabo San Lucas

Scottsdale Airport is set to expand its travel offerings by introducing nonstop flights to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, starting in October 2026. This new service will be provided by the semiprivate airline JSX, offering travelers a convenient option to reach one of Mexico’s most popular destinations.

Rick Wielebski, the aviation director for Scottsdale Airport, expressed enthusiasm about the new service, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome JSX’s new nonstop Cabo service to Scottsdale Airport. This announcement reflects the continued demand for premium, convenient air travel options in our community and reinforces Scottsdale’s position as a world-class destination and aviation hub.”

City Manager Greg Caton also highlighted the significance of this development, noting that Scottsdale Airport plays a crucial role in supporting tourism, business development, and regional connectivity. “Adding nonstop service to Cabo San Lucas expands travel opportunities for residents and visitors while reinforcing Scottsdale’s reputation as a premier destination with world-class transportation infrastructure,” Caton said.

The city has announced that the flights will operate multiple times a week, with schedules and fares to be made available on the JSX Airline page in the coming months. This new route is expected to bolster Scottsdale’s status as a key player in the aviation sector, providing both economic benefits and enhanced travel options for the community.

JSX Airline: A Semiprivate Experience

JSX is known for offering a semiprivate flying experience, which includes the convenience of bypassing crowded terminals and enjoying a more personalized service. This aligns well with Scottsdale’s image as a destination that values luxury and convenience.

As Scottsdale continues to grow as a hub for both leisure and business travel, the introduction of this new route to Cabo San Lucas is a testament to the city’s commitment to expanding its transportation options and supporting its local economy.
