Santa Fe’s annual Fourth of July celebration will take on added significance this year as it becomes the official Capital City event for NM Spirit, New Mexico’s statewide initiative marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The free community celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, at Franklin E. Miles Park and will feature a large-scale drone show followed by a traditional fireworks display. Gates will open and activities will begin at 4 p.m., offering families and visitors an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon and evening of entertainment before the aerial and fireworks displays.
