SAGE Community Arts Executive Director Jill Benson recently discussed the organization’s summer youth programming on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse. In partnership with the Sheridan County YMCA, SAGE Community Arts has enlisted talented local artists to lead the camps.
Summer Art Camps
The camps are designed to inspire creativity and artistic expression in children. So far, the organization has hosted a kid camp every week of the summer, with activities including leather design, pastels, watercolors, drawing, bookbinding, and papier-mâché. The final camp will be held the week before school starts.
