Russian forces launched a series of drone strikes across Ukraine overnight, hitting a variety of civilian and commercial sites and injuring seven people, according to local authorities.
Kyiv region hit
In Kyiv and its surrounding districts, a storage warehouse in Holosiivskyi was set ablaze, while a fuel station and an office building nearby also suffered damage. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported three injuries in the capital. Additional debris fell in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts, with a gas station in Darnytskyi also hit.
Injuries outside the capital
In the Zhytomyr region west of Kyiv, a business was struck, wounding two people, according to Ukraine’s Emergency Service. Further south, in Zaporizhzhia, a strike ignited a large fire at a shopping center, injuring two men aged 37 and 39. Emergency crews contained the blaze after it spread across roughly 6,000 square meters.
Odesa region attacks
The southern Odesa region saw multiple warehouse buildings catch fire after Russian attacks. Firefighters faced repeated air‑raid alerts and the challenge of extinguishing flames in structures packed with goods. Russian officials said three logistics centers storing military and dual‑use goods were hit, along with another facility holding drone components.
Maritime strike
Russia also claimed to have struck a bulk carrier transporting military supplies to the port of Odesa, adding a maritime dimension to the night’s operations.
Emergency crews across the affected areas worked under difficult conditions, periodically halting operations to take shelter as further attacks were anticipated.
