Kyiv region authorities reported that a Russian drone strike on a private residence in the Fastiv district killed a mother and her two three‑year‑old children on the night of September 19. The emergency service confirmed the tragic loss of the family, describing the home as having been hit directly by the unmanned aircraft.

Governor Tymur Tkachanko added that a girl died in a hospital after a separate drone strike hit another district within the region. In total, the death toll from the overnight attacks rose to four.
The governor said the attacks spanned more than a day, affecting 31 sites across five districts. Fastiv, the southwestern district, suffered the most damage, with 24 locations hit. Those sites included homes, industrial and utility buildings, the grounds of an agricultural enterprise, and several vehicles.
