Rulber De la Torre, the owner of Mi Ranchito, has opened a new restaurant in Prairie Village called Rulber’s Restaurant Mas Cantina. De la Torre is passionate about his craft and creates new menu items with lots of passion.
Menu Highlights
The restaurant’s menu features housemade corn and flour tortillas, freshly-made guacamole, and Italian-inspired cherry tomato salsa. Other standout dishes include chile-style pork ribs, ribeye tacos, and a salmon salad. De la Torre’s signature item is the ‘billionaire’ burrito, which features ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, crab, onions, peppers, and a creamy chipotle sauce.
De la Torre was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and grew up eating enchiladas and tacos every day. He moved to Kansas at 15 and started working in a restaurant, eventually becoming a kitchen manager. His goal was to have his own restaurant, and with the success of Mi Ranchito, he decided to open Rulber’s to showcase more of his dishes.
